So here is the deal with Button Quail Eggs. I will sell them at the price listed below. These prices include shipping cost. The eggs and shipments are not insured but I always offer to replace any broken eggs for shipping cost alone. **I do pack them very well and most orders arrive with no problems and no broken eggs.
I pack them in trays surrounded by cushion, bubble wrap and packing material. Thats all I can do to ship them. Don't ask for anything more. I have been shipping them for years and know how to do it for safe arrival.
All eggs chosen from a mixture of all of our rare varieties. Sorry cannot sell eggs of individual single varieties, though I will do my best to choose the colors you prefer but they are sold as an assortment from all of the varieties that I breed. But..., if you are searching for certain colors in particular I will do my best to send those if I have those colors separate and can collect enough eggs
Minimum order is 15 White and Tuxedo eggs or 25 eggs selected from all of the birds that are laying at this time, PLEASE DO NOT ask to buy smaller amounts,
I will not sell smaller numbers of eggs, I will not sell larger numbers of eggs.
I will only sell a maximum of 25 eggs per order, if you want 50, you must order 2 groups of 25,
If I can mail them together I will. If I have to wait to long to collect 50 I will ship each order separately.
THAT IS ALL I AM WILLING TO DO, OK!
What percent hatch can you expect from these eggs? While there is no way to predict how many will hatch, The hatch rate in summer months runs about 70%, Which is about as good as it will ever get. The hatch rate in winter months is about 40% or less. Customers have reported hatches as low as 11% and as high as 82%. There is no doubt that individual incubators and their owners will influence the hatch rate. There is also no doubt the shipping also affects the hatch rate.
I can also tell you right off if your eggs take longer than 17 days to hatch, YOUR INCUBATOR IS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY, NO MATTER WHAT YOU MIGHT THINK,
Button quail eggs hatch in 17 days, anything from 19-20 and 21 days is an instant indication that there was an incubator problem. I have had people report poor hatches only to find out that the few eggs that hatched hatched on day 21 or something other than 17, This usually means the temperature was NOT consistent or not accurate during the incubation period.
BOTTOM LINE - GET A GOOD ACCURATE THERMOMETER.
Special notice! I get orders almost daily for quail eggs, please realize that it is first come first served and you order will be mailed to you as soon as I can get to it. I DO NOT HAVE LOTS OF QUAIL, and I am only picking a few eggs per day so it can take a while to fill orders. If you want to know the status of your order you need only send me an email and will can tell you about how long it will be before your order is ready for shipment. I always mail orders out with USPS on line label service and you will receive an email from USPS with tracking number.
